I realized today that I haven't posted in an entire week. I have been incredibly busy (and obsessed, but I'll get to that in a minute) this past week. We have rearranged our office so that I am up front and with a few new people in the office, I pretty much feel like I work in a fishbowl. With everyone watching...all the time. I have been trying
desperately to organize the clutter in my life. I started with the playroom and moved on to the garage. I feel pretty good about my progress but still have a long way to go. Now that the busy part is covered, I now am embarrassed to admit my OBSESSION. The Twilight series. Yes I said it and I am fully aware that I am the last person on this planet to jump on the wagon. I don't usually obsess over vampires,
werewolves and teenagers for that matter but I have found myself
literally consumed by these books (after Lucy goes to bed of course) every night and free second I can find. I usually favor murder mystery, romantic comedy and legal thrillers, well...I've found a new love!! Most of the books I read take me to another place for a while and I suppose that is why I read so much. However, I usually feel like an outsider looking in. Stephanie Myer on the other hand, pulls you right into the story. I get completely lost while reading these books and I have no idea what is different about THESE books from any other "good book" I've read before. With two down in just one week and just two more to go, I might need to slow down because I don't want it to end!!! For those of you (if any) haven't read Twilight I encourage you to do so. Hopefully you won't think I'm crazy. And if you do...DON'T TELL ME!!!! Well, I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and that it continues through the weekend. I'm off to the beach to see the hubs. Well, that is if I can keep my nose out of the third book long enough!!!!
I tagged you today on my blog, make sure you check it out and do your post!
ReplyDeleteI have been putting off reading the books because they don't seem my type, but everybody has the same reaction you did. I need to read them!
